About

I'm Zach Goebel — a maker, writer, and builder based in the Midwest. I work at the intersection of technology and creativity, building things that are useful, interesting, or both.

Professionally, I've spent years working across product development, design, and engineering. I care deeply about craft — the kind of attention to detail that makes something feel right, even if you can't quite put your finger on why.

Outside of work, I'm usually building something new — a game, a publishing project, a radio setup. I believe the best way to learn is to make things and share what you discover along the way.

This site is my home base: part portfolio, part notebook, part experiment in building in public.
